Twisting and turning
My heart won’t stop yearning
for clarity and peace
My Source my relief
How is one to believe
people in choices won’t deceive
When guidance and friendship aren’t enough
It’s tough
At the expense of friendships true
Authentic in support of you
Your crisis blinds
Distorts your mind
A past of bad decisions made
A lust obeyed
Friends’ debt unpaid
A trust betrayed

It’s always rough when our friends run us over. I love the rhythm of your poem.
